The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a respected hospital in Las Vegas, NM, to hire an organized and professional Certified Pharmacy Technician for a hospital-based role with rotating shifts, weekends, and holiday coverage.

Under the direction of a licensed pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician supports medication preparation, distribution, and inventory management.

Schedule: Full-Time | Days

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with medication preparation, dispensing, delivery, labeling, storage and recordkeeping
  • Manage pharmacy inventory, supplies, ordering, receiving, and medication restocking
  • Compound sterile and non-sterile preparations in compliance with safety standards
  • Support insurance processing and prior authorizations as directed
  • Operate and maintain pharmacy automation systems and equipment
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain regulatory compliance 

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Completion of Pharmacy Technician training program preferred
  • Current New Mexico Pharmacy Technician license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) preferred
  • 1+ year of previous hospital or clinical pharmacy experience

Additional Requirements

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and Medications
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
  • Strong communication, organizational, computer skills & attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
