The Staff Pad is partnering with a respected hospital in Las Vegas, New Mexico to hire a dedicated Environmental Services Worker who are ready to make an impact behind the scenes. In this essential role, you’ll help ensure patients, visitors, and healthcare staff experience a clean, comfortable, and safe environment every single day.

What You’ll Do

As an Environmental Services Worker, you will play a critical role in maintaining hospital cleanliness and infection prevention standards by:

  • Cleaning and sanitizing patients rooms, hallways, offices, and common areas
  • Maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for patients, families, and staff
  • Properly handling and disposing of waste and potentially infectious materials
  • Following OSHA and hospital safety protocols, including Blood borne Pathogen Standards while cleaning and disinfecting areas exposed to blood, body fluids or infectious materials
  • Helping prevent the spread of infection through detailed cleaning and disinfection practices
  • Supporting overall hospital operations through dependable and efficient service

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • At least One Year of previous housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred
  • Experience in healthcare settings is a plus, but not required
