We’reĀ seeking anĀ Interior Designer to join our project team for the design of a confidential integrated resort—a landmark destination envisioned to redefine the relationship between architecture, landscape, and experience.Ā 

SpanningĀ over one million square feet, the project will blendĀ casino, food and beverage, and hotel environmentsĀ withĀ overĀ 75,000 square feetĀ of special venue space, including anĀ award-winning steakhouse, a rooftop bar, a collection of one-of-a-kind lounges and entertainment venues, and a world-class spa.Ā 

The resort will also feature aĀ championship golf courseĀ that connects the built environment to its natural setting in a seamless and dramatic way.Ā 

The guest tower celebratesĀ 500 guest rooms, culminating in a range of scale and luxury experiences, highlighted by theĀ sky suites, offering panoramic views and elevated private experiences.Ā This project embodies the ambition to create a destination that is immersive, contemporary, and unforgettable in every detail.Ā

Your RoleĀ 

AsĀ aĀ GenslerĀ Interior Designer, you are passionate about your craft and combine creativity andĀ technicalĀ knowledge with business skills and understanding to produce functionally beautiful spaces for clients. You have exceptional design skills, a background inĀ interiorĀ designĀ and a portfolio of innovative design concepts. You are an integral member of the design team who relishes contributing a point of view and craves participation in conceptual thought-processes and design exploration.Ā

What You Will DoĀ 

  • Utilize your experience to perform interior design assignments that include programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, spaceĀ planningĀ and construction documentationĀ 

  • Participate in theĀ selectionĀ and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lightingĀ 

  • Creates initial concept packages withĀ a strong designĀ story, to guide the design process through project completionĀ 

  • Conducts programming efforts through space planning studies to arrive at final approved plan that meet the goals of clientsĀ 

  • Sculpts interior spaces as a holistic experience including specification of furniture, lighting,Ā artworkĀ and finishes/materialsĀ 

  • Leads day-to-day project coordination efforts with the ability to prioritize deadlines, manage communication and coordination with clients and consultantsĀ 

  • Communicates conceptual design ideas through 2D and 3D presentation/design drawingsĀ 

  • Work with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectivesĀ 

  • Participates in the construction administration of projects - including review of submittals and finish samples as well as value engineering efforts toĀ maintainĀ design intentĀ

Your QualificationsĀ 

  • Bachelor's degree orĀ Master’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or related field from an accredited programĀ 

  • 5 - 8 years of interior design experienceĀ 

  • NCIDQ or CID CertificationĀ requiredĀ 

  • LEED Accreditation a plusĀ 

  • Proficient in SketchUp and RevitĀ 

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)Ā 

  • Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specificationsĀ 

  • Rendering and visual communication skills are highly valuedĀ 

  • Passionate, self-starting, intelligent, dedicated, efficientĀ Detailed understanding of FF&E design and deliverablesĀ
