The Staff Pad has partnered with a hospital in Las Vegas, NM to hire a Registrar for the Patient Access Department.


Position: Registrar – PRN (As Needed)
Location: Las Vegas, NM



Job Summary:
The Registrar plays a key role as the first point of contact for patients entering the hospital. This position is responsible for managing the registration process with professionalism, accuracy, and compassion. Duties include gathering and verifying patient information, completing required forms, obtaining signatures, and explaining hospital policies and financial responsibilities. The Registrar also supports timely communication between patients, clinical teams, and administrative departments to ensure a smooth admission process and positive patient experience.


Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.

  • Experience: Familiarity with medical terminology; strong multitasking, typing, and computer skills; and a self-motivated, detail-oriented work ethic. Previous hospital or registration experience preferred. Must be flexible with scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

  • Licenses/Certifications: None required.
