Job DetailsJob Location: Silverton Casino LLC - Las Vegas, NV 89139GENERAL SUMMARY: The Slot Technical Manager will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the operational performance and regulatory compliance of all slot machines and equipment. The Slot Technical Manager will also be responsible for creating and maintaining a departmental training program, implementing maintenance programs for gaming equipment, and managing workflow within the department. Principle Responsibilities and Duties: Must have knowledge of all aspects of the Slot Technical field. Provides casino layout maps whenever requested. Recommends new hires, pay increases, promotions and terminates, to the VP of Gaming. Trains and schedules all tech professionals. Approves large jackpots above levels authorized for subordinates in the submitted System of Internal Controls. Provides the VP of Gaming with strategies to enhance revenue. Prioritize tasks that are requested by the V.P. to enhance efficiency and importance. Upon request, provide casino layout options to the VP of Gaming. Schedule or delegate to Tech Supervisor, Vendor tasks based on their importance. Identify and notify any hazardous conditions, areas or equipment that need to be addressed to your proper department head immediately, place a repair order or resolve it. Proper use of Slot Department equipment. Evaluate and endorse all Slot Techs Performance Appraisals. Oversees Slot Tech Supervisor and Techs on all machine and sign moves, installs and removal, conversions, and repairs. Coordinate with other departments regarding slot system changes. Responsible for providing slot file maintenance in the metering system or delegating to Tech Supervisor. Upon request, investigate meter variances and verify that the repairs are completed. Maintain open communication with Management regarding Team members, guests, and vendor related issues, issues and/or solutions. Coordinates with the Slot Tech Supervisor verbally or through email on orders to be sent. Other duties as assigned. QualificationsSkills, Education & Other Requirements Experience: Minimum of 5 years Casino Management. Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Must have PC Skills, working knowledge of slot metering systems, Word, Excel, E-mail etc. Requires working knowledge of Slot Tech Supervisor, and Slot Techs responsibilities. The ability to direct Slot Tech Supervisor and or Slot Techs on all tasks. Assures the Slot Tech Supervisor does SOP training and other skill level training as directed by Management to all levels of Slot Techs. Must have advanced slot knowledge and troubleshooting skills. Must have full knowledge of Compliance Advisory and the Mandatory Firmware Notifications. Must ensure that all SOP’s and Internal Controls are followed that pertain to each team member’s job description. Must have full knowledge of Par Sheets, programs and EPROM’s for all types of platforms. Coordinates with the Slot Tech Supervisor all Par Sheets are maintained for all active EGM’s. Stays current with new technology, game platforms, etc. Required Work Cards Identification that establishes identity. Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States. Must be able to register with the Gaming Control Board.
