Job DetailsJob Location: Silverton Casino LLC - Las Vegas, NV 89139Position Type: Full TimeGeneral Summary of Job Duties Ensure accurate recording and timely reporting of gaming and non-gaming revenues in accordance with Silverton Hotel & Casino policies and regulatory requirements. Assist accounting leadership with maintaining the general ledger, preparing journal entries, and performing reconciliations to support accurate internal and external financial reporting. Principle Responsibilities and Duties Perform all functions in accordance with applicable GAAP, Gaming Control Board regulations, federal and state laws, and Silverton policies and procedures. Prepare journal entries necessary to maintain an accurate general ledger reflecting internal and intercompany transactions across all business units. Reconcile balance sheet accounts, bank accounts, vendor accounts, and customer accounts in accordance with departmental policy. Prepare monthly reconciliations of intercompany related-party receivables and payables. Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements and reporting packages for all Silverton-managed business units. Support the month-end and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Assist in coordinating and preparing documentation for internal and external financial audits. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and supporting financial analysis. Monitor banking activity to ensure sufficient funds are available for wires, checks, and operational transactions. Assist in the execution and implementation of financial projects, system initiatives, and process improvements. Support Accounting management with ad hoc projects and financial reporting across all Silverton-managed business units. Other duties as assigned.
