The Staff Pad has partnered with an amazing healthcare organization in Las Vegas, NM, to find an experienced Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) to join their Radiology team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled sonographer who is passionate about patient care, diagnostic excellence, and delivering high-quality imaging services.

Schedule: Full-Time | Days

What You'll Do

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including vascular, cardiac, abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, and small parts imaging
  • Perform or assist with special procedures, including biopsies, as required
  • Produce high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation
  • Verify patient identity and explain procedures to patients and families
  • Ensure patient comfort, safety, and understanding throughout examinations
  • Maintain a clean and sterile examination environment
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment to ensure proper functionality
  • Transport and position patients safely using proper body mechanics
  • Complete required documentation and ensure accurate study records
  • Assist with training and orienting new staff members as needed

What We're Looking For

Education, Experience & Certifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited school of ultrasonography or demonstrated expertise meeting department standards
  • ARDMS or CCI certification in at least one specialty preferred or registry-eligible (candidates must obtain certification within one year of hire)
  • CPR certification required (must be obtained within 60 days of hire if not currently certified)
  • At least 1 year of hospital-based experience preferred

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and perform well under pressure
  • Ability to lift, move, and safely position patients as needed
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally walk and bend
