Summary of Role/Position

Carparts.com is seeking a Warehouse Maintenance Assistant to work with the Facilities manager in the upkeep, maintenance, and/or repair of various equipment and items in the warehouse. The right candidate will have high attention to detail, can work without supervision and have a passion for maintaining a safe work environment.  

• Partner with leadership (Facilities Supervisor, Operations Manager, Director of Operations) on maintenance work and special projects.
• Oversee equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections.
• Conduct equipment audits and maintain accurate records.
• Manage parts inventory and place orders as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and security protocols.
• Coordinate and ensure completion of annual fire extinguisher inspections.
• Perform scheduled compressor maintenance (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
• Assist with battery care, including charging and watering.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the work area at the end of each shift
• Maintain and repair, conveyor lanes, modules and all other associated components.
• Maintain and repair of the EM7 Packsize Box On Demand printers and gluers.
• Perform PIT PM's and repairs as needed.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.

• Prior facilities experience in a warehouse. 

Physical Requirements  

• Must be able to stand or walk up to 12 hours a day 
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds constantly
