Job Description
The Workplace Service Manager implements technical expertise to evaluate Aramark's operating program standards, measure performance and recommend solutions in order to enhance or improve operations. Drives adherence to Aramark program standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for each specific line of service: Grounds and Landscaping, Operations and Maintenance, and Cleaning. Conducts research on the facilities industry to help Aramark remain competitive and innovative.Ā
Job Responsibilities
Develops and accountable for a safety culture that fosters a work environment where no one gets hurtĀ
Provides support and assistance to the District Manager and General Manager to identify and report market trends, potential new technologies, innovative practices, database and systems that increase market differentialĀ
Assists with the development of databases to manage, evaluate and forecast facilities talent and or programsĀ
Performs tasks in maintenance, custodial, and grounds services while using the Facilities Program Audit to learn the practices of upgrading, updating, and enhancing best practices in FMĀ
Reviews work orders and project specifications and estimates material and labor to complete the project
Assists in coordinating the activities of employees in service areas to ensure the effective and efficient utilization of staff, materials, and equipmentĀ
Supports General Manager and Maintenance Technician(s) on setting up and maintaining the CMMS at multiple accountsĀ
Performs an asset inventory of a building, enters data into the CMMS, and creates PMāsĀ
Tours and inspects the facility to ensure total quality management requirements in maintenance, custodial and grounds operationsĀ
Ensures compliance with all local and government safety regulationsĀ
Responds to the requests of the District Manager, other service managers, or the Facility Manager.Ā
Obtains technical skills and knowledge of equipment related to maintenance, custodial, energy and grounds/landscaping operationsĀ
Uses CMMS while ensuring data is accurate, and that closed loop communications is taking place with all requestorsĀ
Takes the lead in communicating with operation managers and clientsĀ
Delivers a training program on some aspect of facilities management functionsĀ
Keeps management informed of new trends, developments and regulations within the field of facilities managementĀ

Qualifications
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Requires at least 3-5 years of technical experience in theĀ appropriate facilitiesĀ and custodialĀ related operations or similar, complex multi-location businessesĀ
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Requires a bachelorās degree or equivalent experience in a related fieldĀ
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Ability to lead multiple projects and assignments in a diverse environment withĀ focusĀ on client and customer services.Ā
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Demonstrates strong interpersonal, analytical and communication skills: verbal, written, presentation and the ability to connect with a wide range of people and behavior stylesĀ
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Skilled with handheld technology and Microsoft OfficeĀ
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Proven analytical and decision-making skillsĀ
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Creative and flexible in demeanor and style to adapt to new situations in a constantly evolving, dynamic environmentĀ
