THE JOB:
The Bus Person at Craftsteak inside MGM Grand Las Vegas plays a vital role in creating an exceptional dining experience by ensuring the restaurant is clean, organized, welcoming, and fully stocked at all times. This position helps keep operations running smoothly by maintaining the dining room, storerooms, food pickup area, and beverage stations to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and efficiency. As a key member of the team, the Bus Person contributes directly to guest satisfaction and the overall success of one of the premier dining destinations within MGM Grand. Working in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment, this role offers the opportunity to be part of an exceptional team dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences every day.
THE STARTING RATE:Â $14.7137/ Hourly
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Work with servers to ensure proper guest service
Polish flatware, set up tables with appropriate silverware, glassware, linen, condiments, and accessories, fold napkins properly and ensure ashtrays are clean and available on tables in designated smoking areas
Clear, clean, and sanitize booth/chair cushions and tables completely, and reset with clean linens, ashtrays, votive candles, glassware, and any additional tabletop items needed
Remove dirty dishes, debris, and linens from table and bring to the kitchen for proper washing and disposing of trash in designated receptacles
Coordinate table availability and constantly communicates with Server, Hostess, and Management to ensure tables are turned efficiently
Serve water, coffee, and soft drinks, refilling when needed
Ensure that dining room floors are clean and free of debris
Perform other job-related duties as requested
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
1+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience as a Bus or Food Runner preferred
