This role is critical for us to succeed as an approachable, luxury destination offering best-in-class hospitality and exciting amenities for all. In addition, you will ensure our team members have the resources to provide our guests with memorable moments at Durango.

While there are several tasks that define your role, you will need to be really good at making it easy for our guests: delivering service with a personal touch and delighting others whenever possible, all with an approachable sense of luxury. Most of the time, you will be:

 

  • Maintaining the cleanliness of casino and public areas.  Cleaning biohazard spills and contaminated areas generally.  Cleaning walls, ceilings and vents.

 

  • Moving furniture, rearranging, and relocating furniture and equipment. 

 

  • Stocking and maintaining par levels of supplies in all porter closets.

 

  • Picking up and removing trash and broken glass. 

 

  • Properly cleaning and maintaining marble and stone

 

  • Properly cleaning and maintain all flooring in the casino

 

  • Cleaning and maintaining high-end finishes using specialist products

In a perfect world, we would also like you to come with:

 

  • Previous public-area cleaning experience preferred.

 

  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders, and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs, ability to bend, stoop and each up to a height of 6 feet, and ability to push, pull, transport and maneuver items weighing up to 50 lbs.

 

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
