About The Position

 We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for a 61-day locum tenens assignment at a clinic in Nevada, starting 07/14/2025. This opportunity requires coverage Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will be comfortable providing comprehensive pediatric care, including well-child checks, acute care, vaccinations, and management of common pediatric conditions such as allergies, asthma, eczema, upper respiratory infections, ear infections, and viral illnesses. This position offers the chance to work in a clinic setting using IMS electronic health record system, with a possibility for assignment extension.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Conduct well-child checks and routine physical examinations

• Provide acute care for pediatric patients

• Administer vaccinations according to recommended schedules

• Diagnose and manage common pediatric conditions including allergies, asthma, and eczema

• Treat upper respiratory infections, ear infections, and viral illnesses

• Perform developmental screenings and assessments

• Provide patient and family education on health maintenance and disease prevention

• Utilize IMS electronic health record system for documentation and care management

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

• Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures

• Ensure high-quality patient care and maintain professional standards

Additional Information:

• Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in Nevada
