About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sterilization Technician to join our team at Where Smiles Grow. As a Sterilization Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sterility of all dental and medical equipment used in our facility. Your attention to detail and adherence to infection control protocols will be critical in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff. You will work closely with our dental and medical professionals to ensure that all equipment is properly sterilized and ready for use. Your work will directly impact the quality of care we provide to our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Performing daily cleaning and sterilization of dental equipment and patient areas
• Maintaining and monitoring sterilization equipment and supplies
• Adhering to infection control protocols and guidelines
• Collaborating with dental professionals to ensure equipment is properly sterilized and ready for use
• Maintaining accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment maintenance

Skills:

As a Sterilization Technician, you will utilize your skills in dental equipment sterilization, infection control, and clean room procedures on a daily basis. Your attention to detail and ability to follow protocols will be critical in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients and staff. Additionally, your strong communication and collaboration skills will enable you to work effectively with our dental professionals and team to provide the highest quality of care.

• Monday – Friday
• 7:30AM – 5:15PM
• No Evening, No Holidays, No Weekends
• Benefits Offered
• Pay Range: $17 - $20 
• Primary Location: Latham, Delmar, Schodack

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and protocols

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in sterilization or infection control
• Experience in sterilization, infection control, or a related field
• Experience in a dental or medical setting
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
