The Role
This is a center-based Occupational Therapist (OT) role serving children with an average age range of 2-7 years, focused on early intervention, social development, and school readiness. You'll work in a collaborative clinical environment that primarily focuses on:

Center-based services
Early learners (ages 2 - 7)
Strong clinical, administrative, and leadership support

What You'll Be Doing

Conduct occupational therapy services with clients aged 2-7 y/o
Develop individualized treatment plans based on clients’ goals and needs
Help clients improve speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
Maintain timely and accurate client records and reports
Collaborate with other healthcare and behavioral professionals to coordinate client care
Educate families on strategies for managing conditions and maximizing independence

Qualifications

New York State Occupational Therapy License
Experience working with children
Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
Fluent in English; additional opportunities for candidates with other language fluency

Physical Requirements

Must be able to sit and stand on the floor throughout the day, as well as bend, kneel, or squat to remain at eye level with clients.

Capable of prolonged periods of standing and sitting throughout the day.

Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds at a time.

Capable of managing unpredictable and frequent aggressive and/or physically demanding behaviors and executing emergency intervention protocols in accordance with clinical training.
