A Server’s primary responsibility is to ensure exceptional dining experiences for guests. You will be the face of the restaurant, interacting directly with customers to take orders, provide menu recommendations, and deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately. A friendly and professional demeanor, attention to detail, and ability to multitask will contribute to the overall success of the establishment.  Â
Responsibilities
Greet guests and welcome them in a friendly mannerÂ
Take drink orders and follow policy regarding service of alcoholÂ
Communicate specials or promotions and make recommendations based on guests' preferences and dietary restrictionsÂ
Answer questions regarding the menu, including allergies or special requestsÂ
Servers must know the menu and be able to explain menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to guestsÂ
Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests and enter them into the POS systemÂ
Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure all orders are prepared and delivered on time and togetherÂ
Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, ensuring accuracy and good presentation, and timed so the entire table is served within a reasonable time frameÂ
Check on guests during their meals to ensure satisfaction and address requests/concernsÂ
Refill drinks and clear plates as needed during guest’s dining experienceÂ
Provide attentive and personalized service, anticipating guests' needsÂ
Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally and bring issues to managementÂ
Collaborate with fellow servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth serviceÂ
Present checks to guests and handle payment transactions accurately and quicklyÂ
As a tipped employee you will be subject to federal (Federal Labor Standards Act – “FLSA”) and state laws relating to tip regulations.  This includes your compliance with properly reporting tips, contributing to a tip pool (where allowed by law), and following company’s policies regarding tasks performed while in a tipped position.  Â
Responsibilities include complying with all federal and state laws, including the FLSA tip regulations regarding tip reporting, sharing, and minimum wage requirementsÂ
Qualifications
One year of restaurant or customer service is preferredÂ
Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsÂ
Positive attitude, enjoyment of hospitality industryÂ
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composureÂ
Strong multitasking and time management abilitiesÂ
Attention to detail, ensuring accurate order-taking and payment processingÂ
Knowledge of food and beverage menus, including dietary restrictions and allergiesÂ
Basic math skills for handling payments and calculating tipsÂ
Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysÂ
Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periodsÂ
