Position Summary
The Housekeeper plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional member and guest experience by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and care across the Club.
This position ensures that all assigned areas—including clubhouse spaces, member areas, and staff facilities—are consistently clean, organized, and welcoming.
More than cleaning, this role contributes to the Club’s overall atmosphere by taking pride in the details that shape first impressions and daily experiences.
Housekeepers are expected to work efficiently, uphold safety and sanitation standards, and support a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of assigned areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces
- Execute floor care (hard floors, carpet, specialty surfaces) using proper techniques and equipment
- Ensure restrooms and common areas are guest-ready at all times
- Follow daily cleaning schedules and respond to additional requests or priority needs as directed
- Handle cleaning supplies and equipment safely and in accordance with Club protocols
- Identify and report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or supply needs in a timely manner
Lodging & Overnight Accommodations:
- Clean and prepare guest rooms, cottages, and overnight accommodations to Club standards
- Make beds with proper linen placement and presentation
- Strip beds and replace linens between guest stays
- Refresh rooms during guest stays (towels, trash removal, light cleaning)
- Replenish guest amenities and ensure rooms are fully guest-ready
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail to support a comfortable guest experience
Seasonal & Operational Support:
- Support seasonal opening/closing procedures and deep cleaning efforts
- Assist with special event preparation and post-event cleanup
- Contribute to a positive team environment through reliability and professionalism
Qualifications
Required:
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift
Preferred:
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience (hospitality or club setting a plus)
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and floor care techniques
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
