Job Summary

Assists in development/implementation of sports medicine program; prevention, assessment, treatment, and reconditioning of athletic injuries.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; Mississippi licensure; NATABOC in good standing; 2 years' experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR or ACLS certification.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide prevention/assessment/treatment/reconditioning per NATA standards.

• Cover physicals, games, and related events; assist occ med program.

Physical Requirements

• Demonstrate and assist with therapeutic exercises and functional mobility.

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and kneeling.

• Lift, support, and transfer patients with assistance/devices as needed (up to 50 lbs independently).

• Manual dexterity for therapeutic techniques and equipment; adequate vision and hearing.
