Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA) is currently seeking a Civil Designer with 0 to 5 years of experience for our Land group in Laurel, Maryland. 

Established 45 years ago, Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc.’s (MRA’s) architects, structural and civil/site engineers, land planners, landscape architects, and surveyors provide planning, design, and construction administration phase services for a wide range of projects throughout the mid-Atlantic and Carolinas. MRA’s projects include: office buildings, commercial and retail centers, business and industrial parks, residential communities, institutional facilities, and recreational facilities, as well as infrastructure design and improvement projects.

Civil Engineer - RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design of land development projects in the Prince George's, Anne Arundel , Montgomery and Howard Counties of Maryland. 
  • Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D to develop design concepts and plans in the following areas: 
    •   site layout, water, sewer mains, roads, soil erosion and sedimentation control plans, floodplain studies and grading plans
  • Provide assistance to other team members and management in order to accomplish department goals and objectives


Civil Engineer - REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required. E.I.T. preferred
  • Experience in Private Land Development preferred but not required
  • AutoCAD & Civil 3D proficiency required
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a group
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook 
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication
  • Local candidates preferred.
