ICMS is looking for an experienced Commissioning Authority / Expert. This individual will participate in all project commissioning activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures commissioning activities to include review of contractors proposed plan, verification and monitoring of testing, troubleshooting failures and review of final submission.
  • Assists all parties in achieving Commissioning goals for the program by providing technical and procedure oversight during all phases of projects

Requirements

  

· Four-year Bachelor's Degree is desired in construction management, engineering or related field or equivalent combination of technical training and/or experience.

· Minimum of 5 years commissioning experience

· Experience reviewing commissioning plans, specifications, submittals, and test procedures.

· Experience witnessing and documenting pre-functional and functional performance testing.

· Experience preparing commissioning reports, deficiency logs, and project closeout documentation.

· Experience working directly with owners, architects, engineers, contractors, and facility operations personnel.

· Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and control diagrams.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and commissioning management software.

· Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.


Additional Qualifying Factors:

· As a condition of employment, it will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.


Security Clearance:

It is mandatory that all Contractor personnel working onsite at federal facilities meet federal government security clearance standards. Minimum investigation at a Public Trust level required.

Location: Laurel, MD (may need to visit Washington DC location and Fort Meade, MD)

Salary: $120,000 – $150,000/year 


*This is a contingent hire position based upon the award of contract.
