Join Our Team

RPM Ventures is looking for a passionate, energetic, and results-driven District Trainer to help develop the next generation of leaders and technicians across our Take 5 Oil Change locations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coaching others, building high-performing teams, and creating a culture of continuous improvement.

As a District Trainer, you will work alongside Shop Managers, District Managers, and Operations Leadership to ensure every new hire and existing team member receives consistent, high-quality training that supports our brand standards and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

  •  Train and coach new hires through their first 45 days using the Take 5 training program. 
  •  Conduct in-shop coaching on all service positions, including Hood Tech, Pit Tech, Safety Check, Service Writer, and leadership roles. 
  •  Ensure Rally Point training, HR courses, and Crew Challenges are completed accurately and on time. 
  •  Evaluate employee performance and provide real-time coaching and development. 
  •  Assist with Manager-in-Training (MIT) development and leadership readiness. 
  •  Perform training validations and certify employees based on company standards. 
  •  Identify training gaps and create action plans with Shop Managers and District Managers. 
  •  Reinforce safety procedures, customer service standards, and operational best practices. 
  •  Conduct store visits to observe operations, coach employees, and improve overall performance. 
  •  Maintain accurate training records, reports, and documentation. 
  •  Support new store openings, transfers, and company initiatives as needed. 
  •  Serve as a role model by demonstrating professionalism, accountability, and a positive attitude every day. 
What We're Looking For

  •  Previous leadership experience in automotive service, retail, or a fast-paced operations environment. 
  •  Strong communication and coaching skills. 
  •  Ability to teach, motivate, and develop employees at all experience levels. 
  •  Excellent organizational and time-management skills. 
  •  Comfortable giving constructive feedback while building positive relationships. 
  •  Ability to travel throughout the assigned district. 
  •  Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications. 
  •  Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

  •  New hires complete onboarding and training on schedule. 
  •  Training completion rates remain above company expectations. 
  •  Shops consistently meet Take 5 operational and brand standards. 
  •  Managers are confident in developing their own teams.
