Job Summary
The Manager Trainee is responsible for developing the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to transition into a clinic management role. Through hands-on training, mentoring, and rotational assignments, the Manager Trainee gains experience in clinic operations, patient services, regulatory compliance, employee supervision, financial management, and quality improvement initiatives.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operational Management: Assist with daily clinic operations; Support workflow management; Identify process improvement opportunities; Participate in scheduling and staffing. Patient Experience: Support high customer service standards; Assist with patient concern resolution; Maintain HIPAA compliance. Leadership Development: Participate in employee coaching and training; Assist with onboarding; Develop leadership skills; Promote a collaborative work environment. Compliance & Quality: Learn regulatory standards; Assist with audits and compliance activities; Support patient safety initiatives; Participate in improvement projects. Financial & Administrative: Assist with productivity tracking and KPIs; Learn budgeting and revenue cycle fundamentals; Support inventory management; Prepare reports and maintain records. Professional Development: Complete training programs; Participate in meetings and projects; Demonstrate commitment to growth and development.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred; Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience preferred; Medical office experience strongly preferred; Ability to read, write, and understand communication; Basic computer proficiency required.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills; Ability to build relationships; Organizational and problem-solving skills; Ability to maintain confidentiality; Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare systems; Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions
Primarily clinic-based environment; Standard weekday schedule with potential for occasional additional hours based on operational needs.
