Job Description:

1.Maintain surgical services calendar, coordinate meetings, prepare spreadsheets, maintain files, process forms. 2.Act as a department resource in answering questions or directing concerns to the appropriate person. 3.Coordinate projects, analyses, committee meetings, agenda and minutes as directed by SS leadership. 4.Handle multiple concurrent tasks concurrent to support and manage daily operations of the office. 5.Ensure the Surgical Services department runs smoothly by having a comprehensive knowledge of the day to day office responsibilities as well as having a positive, enthusiastic, welcoming demeanor. 6.Assist SS leadership with payroll. 7.Input data into AMION for call staff. 8.Input and distribute four week staffing schedule for OR, Endo, PACU and CS. 9.Run various reports as directed by SS leadership (block utilization, interval note compliance, monthly volumes, AHA, case comparisons, FCOTS, turnover times, case hours, etc. 10.Provide backup coverage for the surgery scheduler. 11.Collect data for quarterly corporate compliance audits. 12.Enter service requests as needed for IT, Biomed, and Engineering. 13.Collect daily orders and manage surgeon's and anesthesia lunch. 14.Input data for MEC scorecard, Ortho Co-management dashboard and SCEC dashboard. 15.Maintain user list for scrub machines. 16.Assists Senior Director with agreement checklists and contracts as needed. 17.Maintain tracking boards. 18.Maintain nutritional stock in Surgeon's lounge. 19.Communicate events, meetings, and in-services to staff as needed. 20.Order office supplies as needed. 21.Receives and screensthe escorts and introduces visitors (students, vendors, etc.) to SS Leadership. 22.Updates calendar for Senior Director as needed scheduling and canceling appointments.
