TRUCK SHOP MECHANIC

OBJECTIVE:  To maintain and repair all Commercial company vehicles and company vehicles.

• Repair or replace damaged or malfunctioning parts or mechanic units
• Maintain effective maintenance programs, policies and procedures
• Schedule routine maintenance
• Maintain records of all services performed
• Troubleshoot any type issues
• Understand LOTO Procedures
• Able to work in all type environments, i.e., cold, moist, hot, dusty
• Communicate with drivers concerning issues with vehicles
• Follow written and verbal instructions
• Comply with all Company policies and safety policies
• Will be trained to operate a forklift

2nd shift - Sunday - Thursday (some Fri/Sat) 3:00 p.m. - 12:30 a.m. Must have extensive knowledge of automotive mechanics - gas and diesel engines; manual and automatic transmissions, etc.; good attendance; available to work any shift; must be physically qualified according to FMCSA - will have to have a DOT Physical; must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record; ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems for all company vehicles; must have own basic tools;
