1st Shift Material Coordinator

About the Role:

The Material Coordinator plays a critical role in accurately picking orders to ensure correct counts and product selection, wrapping skids to secure parts for safe transportation, and staging completed orders in preparation for shipment. Depending on the needs of the department, the Material Coordinator will assist with loading trailers that will include the use of a forklift as well as manual lifting. 

Pay: $19.33/hour

1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 5:00am-3:30pm. Occasional overtime on Fridays.

Required Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operates a forklift
• Order picking
• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
• Regularly lift up to 30 lbs
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a factory setting with hot and cold temperatures, noise, and dust.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Advanced knowledge of safety protocols
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, squat, twist, bend at the waist, lift, push, pull, and reach overhead.
• Excellent hand and eye coordination and hand dexterity.
• 1-2 years in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Required Education and Certification:

• High school diploma
• Forklift certification preferred
