The Douglas County District Court is accepting applications for an administrative assistant to Judge Blake Glover, District Court Judge for Division 2. 

Job duties:   Provide varied, complex, and often confidential administrative assistance to the judge, including maintaining the calendar, organizing and managing case paperwork, scheduling proceedings, drafting and proofreading correspondence and other documents, and e-filing. Communicate with the public, attorneys, other court staff, and occasionally law-enforcement agencies. Perform other related duties.

Requirements: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer skills (Microsoft applications and Zoom), organizational skills, and interpersonal skills are required. Applicant must also be able to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines. The position requires attention to detail, discretion, and teamwork. Knowledge of legal proceedings and prior administrative experience are preferred but not required. Applicant must have a high school diploma or GED.
