About Maigrate

Maigrate builds AI-powered products for mid-market companies. We build lasting software, not one-time deliverables. We're early-stage, growing fast, and assembling the team that will define what AI-native software looks like for this market. The people who join now won't just build the product, they'll help shape how we operate and what we become.

About the Role

We are hiring an AI Product Lead to own product strategy and delivery.

Every new customer and every new agent is a product launch. New workflows, new edge cases, new integration requirements, new constraints on how software must behave in a regulated environment. You will own that work from scoping through go-live and past it.

You will set the roadmap, decide what gets built and in what order, and stay accountable for whether it works in production. You sit between our customers, our operations team, and our engineers. Requirements come in from customer conversations and internal review. They leave your desk as written tickets an engineer can pick up and build.

What You'll Do

Own the product

  • Set and maintain the roadmap across all accounts, and defend the sequencing

  • Decide what is a one-off customer request and what becomes core product

  • Define success metrics before launch, including adoption, reliability, and cost, and report against them after

Own delivery

  • Run each new deployment from requirements through production go-live

  • Manage scope, tradeoffs, timelines, and quality

  • Make the call when scope and date conflict

Turn customer problems into shipped software

  • Gather requirements directly from customer stakeholders and the people doing the work

  • Write specs and tickets an engineer can build against without a follow-up meeting

  • Run the backlog in our ticketing system: write it, prioritize it, groom it, and keep it current

  • Translate technical constraints back into language a customer executive can act on

  • Plan for how the system behaves when the AI is wrong, and what the fallback is

Work with no playbook

  • Lead the first engagement in a new workflow or sub-vertical

  • Find the unknowns early and remove the risk before it hits a timeline

Lead the product team

  • Oversee the product team, with product managers and implementation specialists reporting to you

  • Mentor the team and keep it aligned on strategy

What We're Looking For

Must have

  • 5+ years in product management, or a comparable role where you owned what shipped, such as technical program management, founder, or early employee wearing the product hat

  • Experience leading a team, or clear readiness to step into a team leadership role

  • A track record of owning a roadmap

  • Experience running work through a ticketing system such as Linear or Jira as the person writing and prioritizing the tickets

  • Comfort operating across customers, internal teams, and engineers in the same day, and adjusting how you communicate for each

  • AI fluency. You do not need to write code. You need to know what these systems do well, where they fail, and how to scope around that

  • Ability to sit with an operations team for two hours and come out knowing where the real bottleneck is

  • Experience shipping under ambiguity, with short timelines and incomplete information

  • Willingness to be the person accountable when something does not work

Preferred

  • Healthcare domain expertise: clinical or operational workflows, EHR/EMR systems, and how healthcare organizations make decisions

  • Familiarity with HIPAA, PHI, and regulatory constraints on automated decisions

  • Experience with LLM-based or AI-native products

  • Founder or early-startup experience
