This role is crucial in facilitating communication and coordination within the organization and externally, representing the President and CEO in various capacities. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and maintain the President and CEO’s schedule, appointments, and travel arrangements to optimize time and productivity. - Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents on behalf of the President and CEO. - Coordinate and facilitate meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and ensuring follow-up on action items. - Serve as a liaison between the President and CEO and internal staff, board members, and external stakeholders, fostering positive relationships and effective communication. - Conduct research and compile data to assist the President and CEO in decision-making and strategic planning. - Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism, ensuring compliance with organizational policies. - Assist in the development and implementation of executive projects and initiatives, tracking progress and ensuring timely completion. - Manage special projects as assigned by the President and CEO, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills. - Support the President and CEO in external engagements, including community events, speaking engagements, and fundraising activities. - Maintain and organize records, files, and documentation to ensure efficient retrieval and management of information. QualificationsRequired Education: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred. Required Experience: - Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar administrative role supporting senior executives. - Proven track record of managing complex calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements for executives. - Experience in preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence for executive-level meetings. - Familiarity with the operations and organizational structure of non-profit organizations is advantageous. Required Skills and Abilities: - Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications. - Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information and communications. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills. - High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
