THE ROLE INVOLVES

The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for the coordination and performance of daily human resources functions including payroll, benefits, recruitment, orientation, compliance and record keeping. This position will collaborate and support HR Department initiatives to build company culture, engagement, and professional development.

YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a relevant field; or at least seven (7) years of generalist experience; or equivalent combination of skills and experience.
  • Proven experience with HRIS systems with understanding of applicant tracking, benefit and performance management, time and attendance, and a solid knowledge of labor law and compliance.
  • Minimum five (5) years of payroll processing experience. Experience with ADP Workforce Now a plus.
  • Proficient with MS Office Applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. 
  • Ability to identify and improve processes using technology to increase efficiencies.
  • Human Resources Certification, strongly preferred.
