The Student Aide is responsible for assisting the various Olympic Sports Dietitians in monitoring the student-athlete fueling station(s), managing the performance nutrition social media platforms, distributing team snacks, and monitoring inventory. This position will work closely with the student-athletes as well as the performance nutrition, athletic training, and strength and conditioning staff.  Duties and Responsibilities of the Position: Provide excellent customer service to all guests, visitors, vendors, student-athlete prospects who enter the Wagnon Student-Athlete Center; Monitor the main fueling station to ensure it is being used properly and appropriately by student-athletes; Create nutrition education and post to social media after approved by Registered Dietitian; Refill locker room snacks of those teams in season; Prepare snacks for practice, games, and/or team staff members to pick up; Refill weight room protein shake fridge; Communicate effectively with performance nutrition staff regarding inventory and pertinent interactions and/or conversations with student-athletes and staff members; Maintain confidentiality and integrity with office staff and team-related situations or issues; Performs other tasks as assigned by the Director of Athletics or their designee.   QualificationsRequired Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Federal Work Study eligible; Full-time University of Kansas student in good standing; Demonstrated initiative, attention to detail and follow-through; Proven high level of confidentiality and integrity; Must be available and willing to work a flexible schedule including early morning shifts, evenings, and weekends, as needed;  Preferred Qualifications: Full-time University of Kansas student in their Junior or Senior year pursuing a degree within the Department of Health, Sport, and Exercise Sciences, or related field; Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills;
