Looking for a veterinary receptionist job where you can make a meaningful impact for pets and the people who love them? Bulger Veterinary Hospital is hiring a full-time Veterinary Client Concierge to join our General Practice team in Lawrence, MA.
Compensation:

  • $21–$23/hour based on experience and skillset
Schedule:
  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients throughout their visit—helping create a smooth, welcoming experience while partnering closely with doctors and clinical teams to support exceptional patient care. Responsibilities
As a Veterinary Receptionist / Client Concierge, you will:
  • Welcome clients and pets while providing a warm, personalized experience throughout their visit
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for General Practice clients from arrival through discharge
  • Coordinate appointments including consultations, rechecks, procedures, and drop-offs
  • Support multi-department scheduling when needed
  • Admit and discharge patients while maintaining accurate client and patient records
  • Communicate with clients regarding appointments, treatment updates, estimates, follow-up care, and next steps
  • Review upcoming appointments to ensure records and documentation are complete before the visit
  • Process payments, invoices, estimates, and assist with billing-related questions
  • Coordinate with doctors and hospital departments to ensure a seamless client and patient experience
  • Address client questions and concerns with professionalism, compassion, and excellent customer service
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Veterinary Receptionist, Veterinary Client Service Representative, Medical Receptionist, Medical Secretary, or in a customer-facing healthcare role preferred
  • Strong communication and client service skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy veterinary hospital setting
  • Comfortable handling scheduling, medical records, and financial transactions with accuracy
  • Professional, compassionate, and team-oriented approach
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Fluent English speaking and reading skills required
