What You'll Be Doing

As our Production Supervisor, you'll oversee a team of approximately 10–15 production employees responsible for the teardown, refurbishment, repair, and rebuild of medical beds and stretchers.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

 Leading the Team

  • Direct daily production activities and assign work based on priorities and schedules.
  • Motivate, coach, and develop team members to maximize performance.
  • Conduct training and provide ongoing feedback to support employee growth.

 Driving Production Excellence

  • Oversee equipment teardown, inspection, repair, refurbishment, and reassembly.
  • Ensure production targets are met while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to keep operations flowing efficiently.

 Ensuring Quality

  • Monitor in-process and final inspections.
  • Verify all completed units meet safety, functionality, and cosmetic requirements before release.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the production process.

 Collaborating Across Departments

  • Partner with inventory, maintenance, and operations teams.
  • Ensure parts and materials are available to support production schedules.
  • Communicate production status, staffing needs, and performance updates to leadership.

 Promoting Safety

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Enforce safety policies, PPE requirements, and 5S standards.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training in mechanical or related repair disciplines

3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, production, repair, or refurbishment environments

Previous leadership or supervisory experience

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Experience using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment

Ability to prioritize multiple projects and production demands

Strong communication and team-building skills

Basic computer skills for production tracking and documentation

Ability to work in a physically active production environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with medical equipment refurbishment

Technical or vocational training in mechanical or electromechanical disciplines

Knowledge of motors, actuators, hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical assemblies

Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or 5S practices
