Position Summary

聽The Manufacturing Operations Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations in a custom, low-volume/high-mix manufacturing environment to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production that meets quality, delivery, and performance targets. This role leads cross-functional teams, drives continuous improvement initiatives, manages resources, and aligns manufacturing activities with company objectives.聽


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

聽聽聽聽聽

路 Manage day-to-day manufacturing operations to meet production schedules, quality standards, and 聽聽cost targets

路 Lead production and repair teams to achieve operational goals

路 Drive accountability for performance metrics across all manufacturing functions

路 Develop and execute production plans aligned with customer demand and business priorities聽

路 Optimize labor, materials, equipment, and capacity utilization聽

路 Collaborate with planning, supply chain, NPI, Quality, and Engineering to ensure uninterrupted 聽聽production flow and continuous improvement

路 Implement standardized work, visual management, and performance dashboards聽

路 Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence

路 Partner with Quality teams to address non-conformances, corrective actions, and root cause 聽聽analysis聽

路 Support audits, certifications, and regulatory inspections as needed

路 Ensure products meet internal and external quality standards and customer requirements

路 Recruit, train, coach, and develop manufacturing leadership and frontline teams聽

路 Establish clear expectations, performance goals, and development plans聽

路 Foster employee engagement, accountability, and a strong safety culture

路 Identify cost-reduction opportunities and productivity improvements

路 Prepare and present operational performance reports聽

Requirements

Required

聽聽聽聽聽

路 Bachelor鈥檚 degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management or related field.聽

路 5+ years of experience in operations or production management within electronics 聽聽manufacturing or a related high-tech environment.

路 Proven experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement 聽聽methodologies聽

路 Experience with electromechanical manufacturing assembly聽

路 Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and production reporting

路 Strong analytical, problem-solving, and change management skills

路 Manufacturing process optimization

路 Lean and Six Sigma principles

路 Quality assurance and compliance (ISO, IPC standards) knowledge

路 Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

路 Strong Microsoft Office skills in Word, Excel, SharePoint, etc.

路 Engineering BOM interpretations

路 Experience with Work Orders

路 Knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, IPC-A-610, and other relevant quality and regulatory standards.聽

路 Strong understanding of electronics assembly processes (PCB manufacturing, SMT, testing, rework, and packaging).

路 Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost analysis, and resource optimization.

路 Ability to read mechanical drawings
