About the Role

As a Pharmacy Technician II, you will play an integral role on the core team of a mission-driven, fast growing organization that’s eliminating barriers to health for families in Georgia. You’ll manage incoming medication orders, fill prescriptions and help lead our inventory management.  

In this role, you will be responsible for…

  • Handling incoming medication orders with precision, selecting the correct medication from our extensive inventory of donated drugs.
  • Accurately filling prescriptions by repackaging donated drugs from unit-dose packaging into patient vials.
  • Overseeing inventory management, including removing expired products, updating inventory software with new items, and ordering essential supplies such as vials and envelopes.
  • Assisting with various administrative and operational tasks as needed.

  • You’re technology proficient. You have experience using different pharmacy software, customer management platforms, and GSuite and you can easily navigate and troubleshoot.
  • You’re reliable and dedicated. This full-time role requires 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:30am-6pm. Consistent, punctual attendance and a commitment to high performance are essential.

Candidates without the following will NOT be considered:

  • COVID-19 vaccination
  • A Georgia Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
  • Experience in all tasks related to filling prescriptions under pharmacist supervision, from entering into software to picking products to repackaging to adding appropriate postage to envelopes.
  • Passed background check
  • Physical requirements: Able to frequently stand, walk, twist, bend, stoop, squat and use light/fine grasping. Able to frequently sit and stand, reach above shoulders, perform desk based computer tasks, write by hand, lift, carry, push, stack, and pull objects that weigh up to 40 pounds.
