Overall Job Description:
The i9 Sports Program Director is a hands-on role responsible for all aspects of promoting and running our recreational youth sports for kids ages 3-14. This is a work-from-home opportunity that allows for a flexible schedule for someone with the drive and responsibility to manage themselves effectively.
Duties and Responsibilities:
路 Maintain relationships with existing venues hosting our programs
路 Find new locations, per the business plan for our future leagues
路 Market programs locally through in-person marketing events, distributing flyers in the community, and working with local marketing partners
路 Hire, train, and manage part-time season staff to assist in executing the leagues
路 Source coaches, build teams, build schedules, communicate with parents, conduct coach meetings, and execute the local leagues
路 Maintain the local web site
路 Work with the franchise owner to build the local business plan, while taking on the responsibility of executing that plan
路 Responsible for customer service and customer satisfaction
路 Responsible for maintaining the high standards of all of our programs
Requirements:
路 Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
路 Three-plus years of experience in a fast paced service environment Preference for those who have managed staff.聽 Retail or restaurant experience can be a good crossover.
路 Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
路 Ability to market to potential venue owners through in-person, telephone, and email
路 Demonstrable ability to meet goals in a fast paced environment
路 Ability to manage details
路 Ability to identify and efficiently solve problems
路 Highly motivated self-starter; must be able to work independently
路 Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional business relationships
路 Proficiency in core Microsoft Office programs and comfort in learning and using new technology
路 Must possess a valid driver's license
路 Must have reliable transportation
路 Must be able to work from home
