Northside Hospital is seeking a Radiation Therapy Technologist to participate in all technical aspects of radiation therapy, including simulation and administration of treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Candidates must be graduates from an accredited program in Radiation Therapy Technology and registered or eligible for certification by ARRT.
New graduates are required to take the registration boards within six months of graduation and pass them within one year.
Preferred qualifications include one year of previous experience in Radiation Therapy.
The position offers a standard work schedule from 8am to 4:30pm, with no weekend or on-call requirements.

Responsibilities

Participates in all technical aspects of radiation therapy to include simulation and administration of radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by physician.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited program in Radiation Therapy Technology

A. Registered as a Radiation Therapy Technologist by ARRT OR Eligible for certification by ARRT (Board eligible)

A. New graduate employees must take the registration boards within six (6) months of graduation or hire date AND New graduate employees must pass the registration boards within one (1) year of graduation or hire date.

Certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR)

Preferred:

One (1) year previous experience in Radiation Therapy.

Work Hours:

8am-4:30pm
