Service Manager

Aaron Services: Plumbing, Heating & Cooling

Suwanee, GA

Lead the Development of the Best Service Team in Georgia

Aaron Services has proudly served North Atlanta homeowners since 1978. We're a family-owned Plumbing, Heating & Cooling company known for honest service, quality workmanship, and thousands of 5-star reviews. Our service area stretches roughly from Dacula to Marietta and Dawsonville to Midtown.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Service Manager to develop our technicians, strengthen our systems, and help lead the continued growth of our service departments.

This role combines field leadership with operational management. You'll spend time coaching technicians in the field, reviewing performance and KPIs, evaluating estimates and invoices, improving training, strengthening processes, and working with leadership to build an even better service department.

Success isn't measured by how many service calls you complete. It's measured by how much better your technicians become, how consistently they follow best practices, and how effectively the department performs.

If you enjoy developing people, solving problems, and building great systems, we'd love to meet you.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of service technicians through ride-alongs, field coaching, onboarding, training, one-on-one coaching, and mentorship, helping them improve their technical ability, professionalism, customer communication, documentation, and overall performance.

  • Review jobs before, during, and after completion to strengthen diagnostics, workmanship, pricing, quality, customer experience, and adherence to company standards.

  • Review technician KPIs, invoices, estimates, callbacks, and other performance metrics to identify coaching opportunities and improve department performance.

  • Recruit, interview, onboard, and develop new technicians while fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

  • Work closely with dispatch, warehouse, and leadership to improve communication, organization, efficiency, and service processes.

  • Set the standard through professionalism, integrity, enthusiasm, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

  • Significant residential plumbing service experience.

  • Georgia Journeyman or Master Plumber license preferred, or the qualifications and willingness to obtain one within your first year.

  • Previous leadership, mentoring, training, or management experience preferred.

  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

  • Comfortable reviewing KPIs, estimates, invoices, and technician performance.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.

  • Residential HVAC experience is a plus, but not required.

  • ServiceTitan experience is a plus.

  • Strong organizational skills with a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

You'll Thrive Here If You...

  • Enjoy teaching and developing others.

  • Can build positive relationships while consistently holding people accountable to high standards.

  • Believe consistency comes from strong systems and training.

  • Stay calm under pressure and enjoy solving difficult problems.

  • Take ownership and continuously look for ways to improve the business.

  • Want to build a team that homeowners trust and technicians are proud to be part of.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary based on experience

  • Performance-based bonus opportunities

  • Company vehicle

  • Company-paid health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance

  • 401(k)

  • Paid vacation

  • Paid holidays

  • Ongoing leadership and professional development

  • Stable, year-round employment with a family-owned company serving North Atlanta for decades
