Responsibilities

The technician is responsible for maintaining standardization of respiratory supplies and equipment in order to insure efficient work flow. 

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Maintains supplies and equipment for all assigned departments.
  • Performs equipment processing and cleaning per policy.
  • Performs maintenance and safe storage of cleaning supplies for designated areas.
  • Additional duties as requested.
  • Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Immediately reports any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or employee/patient/visitor injury‑accident to Manager.
  • Qualifications

    KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED

  • One (1) year of experience as a Respiratory Instrument Technician
  • Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
  • Work Hours:

    7:30Am - 4PM

    Weekend Requirements:

    Yes- Rotating Basis

    No
