Jim Taliaferro Community Health Center is recruiting for an Administrative Programs Officer to manage and supervise the staff of its new HOPE Grant that works to cultivate community-specific partnerships that support the integration of services and supports for women with substance abuse issues and their families. The position will also take the lead on the new Oklahoma Learning Collaborative’s Comprehensive Health Integration Framework. This framework guides the implementation of integrated physical and behavioral health and includes social factors of health. The incumbent will evaluate whether the grant and initiative are achieving its objectives, will utilize funds efficiently and make necessary adjustments if challenges arise. The ideal candidate will be a self-directed, strategic thinker, have a committed and can-do attitude, strong adherence to efficiency and be a strong team player. 

Job Type/Salary:  

  • Full-time position  

  • Annual Salary is $43,750.00 ($21.03 / hr.)  

  • FLSA Status: Non-Exempt  

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:   

  • Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of a bachelor’s degree plus one year of technical clerical, administrative, secretarial, or general office work, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

About us: Jim Taliaferro Community Mental Health Center in Lawton, OK is a community-based center with a primary focus on mental health and substance abuse treatment. The inpatient and outpatient services they provide include special groups and programs for adolescents, persons with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders, seniors and older adults, women, men, and criminal justice groups.

Drug and Alcohol Pre-employment and Pre-placement Testing:  Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs. Appointment to a safety sensitive position shall be contingent upon a negative drug test result.  

THIS AGENCY REQUIRES COVERAGE 24 HOURS, 7 DAYS PER WEEK. WORK HOURS AND LOCATION MAY VARY DEPENDING ON BUSINESS NECESSITY. EMPLOYEES MAY BE REQUIRED TO WORK WEEKENDS AND OVERTIME.
