Description
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Administer relevant treatment to patients
- Operate and calibrate TMS equipment
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during treatment sessions
- Monitor patient responses and adjust treatment parameters as needed
- Assist with appointment scheduling for relevant services
- Ensure proper paperwork is completed for relevant services
- Clean, sanitize, and prepare equipment for procedures and/or treatment
- Stock rooms/office with relevant procedure supplies
- Position may include limited invasive procedures within scope of education and training
- Other duties approved by the supervisor
Requirements
Education:
- High School Diploma
Other Requirements:
- One or more years of health care experience preferred. However, certain exceptions may be made for specific tech responsibilities based on provider requests and/or needs.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the job
Performance Requirements:
Knowledge:
- Standard office practices, procedures and techniques
- Insurance requirements, provider referrals, and prior authorizations
Skills:
- Operating a computer and various software packages
- Operating a variety of office equipment
- Creating, organizing and keeping records
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Spelling, vocabulary, math and grammar skills appropriate to the level of the position
Abilities:
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships
- Maintain a reliable and dependable attendance record
- Provide effective and responsive service to clinic patients in the office setting
Equipment Operated:
- Specific equipment for relevant procedures and/or treatments. Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.
Work Environment:
- Position is in a well-lit clean office environment, and/or procedure room as required.
Mental/Physical Requirements:
- Requirement may differ depending on the procedure and/or treatment performed. Sitting, lifting and standing as needed throughout the day.
