Facilities Maintenance Technician
Job Purpose
We are looking for a facilities maintenance technician with integrity, a strong work ethic, a professional appearance and demeanor, and a good overall knowledge of all trades—from Carpentry, Tiling, Painting and Drywalling to light Plumbing, Electrical, and HVAC. Must also display excellent customer service skills, including solid communication and interpersonal abilities, and the ability to interact in a positive way with customers, fellow employees, management, and office personnel.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Installing and/or repairing:
- Floor tile
- Electrical (plugs, switches, ballasts, lights)
- Plumbing (unclog drains, faucets, toilets, sinks)
- Ceiling grid and tiles
- Walls (sheet rock and FRP)
- HVAC (registers, ducts, units)
- Miscellaneous restaurant equipment
- Interior and exterior restaurant appearance (painting)
- Respond to service calls
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - 5+ years of experience in maintenance and repair
- Basic knowledge of electricity and mechanical functions
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
- Superior oral communication skills
- Own reliable transportation
- Valid state driver's license and insurance
- Responsible to handle work in multiple restaurants
