Crawford Gas – Crank Grinder

Job Overview: This is a self-directed position requiring the Associate to have the ability to understand an read micrometers to accurately operate the grinding lathe to grind crankshaft rod and main journal to required specifications. Requires positioning crankshaft from a floor rack into the machine and back for shipment. Knowing, understanding, and performing machine set-up and preventative maintenance is required.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm
Overtime

Qualifications

The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 15 lbs.
The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx.…8-10 hours)
The ability to use handheld tools such as hammer and hand grinder.
Standing: Frequently
Walking: Occasionally
Sitting: Never
Stooping (forward leaning): Occasionally
Reaching/Working Overhead: Occasionally

Salary and Benefits:

Starting rate $20.00
