Are you looking for meaningful work in the community helping others? As a member of the ACT Team, you will be a member of a trans-disciplinary team that provides community-based services for adults living with serious mental illness. You will work alongside team members from psychiatry, nursing, addictions counseling, peer support and case management to provide person-centered, recovery-oriented behavioral health care.

As our Employment Specialist/Vocational Specialist, you will help our clients pursue vocational goals that align with their overall recovery goals. Your role will include helping our clients develop job readiness skills. You will assist clients find vocational opportunities that match their skills, abilities and interest. As a coach and advocate, you will also be responsible for networking with employers and other vocational resources in the community.

General Summary

Works collaboratively to facilitate a stable and smooth operation of the program and provides therapeutic interventions in accordance with best practice guidelines, client treatment plans, and policies; performs a variety of client care, case management and administrative functions; and completes details of the discharge plan and makes modifications in order to facilitate the successful discharge of clients.
