ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Firefighter will work at the Superspeedway in various positions and locations. Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to fire, emergency medical, and other emergency services calls as needed.Ā
- Controls and extinguishes fires by selection of appropriate diameter hoses and nozzles
- Remove people from dangerous or hazardous situations through an approved means
- Ensures a safe and fun environment for all guests, staff, sponsors and partners
- Works safely, following all established safety rules and regulations
- Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors and guests
- Ensures the safety of guests and employees
- Utilizes various forms of firefighting equipment and fire suppression or rescue operations
- Patrols assigned areas as directed
- Responds to emergencies as trained

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 18 years of ageĀ
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays and nights as needed
- Must present an overall clean, neat appearance, and report to work in appropriate attire
- Must possess a valid state issued driverās licenseĀ
- Must be able to speak, read and write English
- Must be able to pass a background verification
- Must have completed Hazmat Response Skill or equivalent
- Must have completed Flammable Liquid Course
