In this role, you’ll operate a 20-ton delivery truck transporting compressed gas cylinders, liquid cylinders, and welding supplies to customers along a scheduled route. This is a local position — you’ll be home daily. Key Responsibilities: Routinely travel between our store locations in Lebanon, NH and Rutland, VT Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections Safely deliver and pick up compressed gas cylinders Fill helium cylinders and assist with loading/unloading trailers Maintain Hazmat load manifests and delivery paperwork Build strong customer relationships during deliveries Monitor customer inventory levels to help prevent emergency deliveries Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment Follow DOT, OSHA, and company safety regulations Maintain required CDL and Hazmat endorsements Support other operational tasks as needed  Why Maine Oxy? Must meet all physical qualification standards imposed by regulation for drivers. Strong verbal communication skills, self-starter, self-motivated, sense of urgency, well-organized, ability to achieve goals, and ability to focus and pay attention to detail. Ability to analyze a customer’s situation and help resolve customer problem. Team player with positive attitude. No at-fault accidents or moving violations in previous 3 years. Ability to read and comprehend Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines. Must be able to work overtime when necessary. Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred. 1 year driving experience or driving school training in the past 4 years Class B CDL with HazMat endorsement & airbrakes. Industry and related product knowledge, as well as experience handling compressed gases, preferred. Computer experience or basic knowledge in computer order entry system Can read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.
