Murry’s Inc (MBC Companies), a manufacturer and distributor of frozen food products located is Lebanon, Pennsylvania is currently seeking Production Supervisors.  Under the direct supervision of the Plant Superintendent, the position is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the food manufacturing production process to ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality production of food products. This role is accountable for achieving production goals, maintaining compliance with food safety standards, managing staff, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily production operations to meet customer demand and internal performance metrics.
  • Ensure all food safety and quality standards are followed in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop production team members.
  • Monitor and analyze production performance, adjusting schedules and resources to optimize output and reduce waste.
  • Ensure proper sanitation, GMPs, and allergen control procedures are always followed.
  • Partner with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Sanitation, and Safety teams to ensure efficient plant operations.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities related to production efficiency, labor utilization, equipment uptime, and material yield.
  • Monitor and enforce safety protocols and ensure a culture of safety among team members.
  • Manage labor resources to meet production needs within budget.
  • Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation as required by internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new production employees.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Operations Management, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in food manufacturing or a similar regulated production environment, with 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and regulatory compliance (HACCP, GMPs, SQF/BRC, OSHA).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Proficient in using ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
