What You’ll Do
As a Quality Associate, you'll play a key role in supporting ENTEK’s quality assurance processes by testing production samples, verifying raw materials, and communicating results to production teams. You'll help ensure our products consistently meet customer requirements while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient laboratory environment.
In this role, you will:
- Conduct physical testing of finished products against manufacturing specifications to determine product dispositionÂ
- Perform testing on raw materials to verify compliance with supplier specificationsÂ
- Communicate test results to production operators, leads, supervisors, and management personnelÂ
- Verify that laboratory testing equipment is operating properly and producing accurate resultsÂ
- Follow customer specification sheets, standard work instructions, and established laboratory proceduresÂ
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organization in accordance with 5S principlesÂ
- Understand and comply with Quality System Procedures (QSPs), Work Instructions (WIs), Training Manuals, and Quality BulletinsÂ
- Accurately complete required testing records and documentationÂ
- Share process information and testing observations with team membersÂ
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and recommend opportunities to improve laboratory procedures, workflow, and product qualityÂ
- Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and programsÂ
- Demonstrate accountability and professionalism while working with employees across the organization
Requirements
What We’re Looking ForWe're seeking a dependable and analytical individual who enjoys hands-on testing, problem-solving, and contributing to a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GEDÂ
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents, procedures, and specificationsÂ
- Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and divisionÂ
- Ability to collect data, establish facts, analyze information, and develop reasonable solutionsÂ
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsÂ
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken EnglishÂ
- Ability to accurately complete required documentationÂ
- Ability to work independently and as part of a teamÂ
Preferred Qualifications
- One (1) to two (2) years of quality control experience in a manufacturing environmentÂ
- Experience working in a laboratory settingÂ
- Familiarity with chemicals and laboratory safety proceduresÂ
- Experience solving practical problems and troubleshooting issuesÂ
- Knowledge of quality systems and testing methodologiesÂ
Your Work Schedule
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Employees may be required to work 12-hour shifts and spend the majority of their shift on their feet while supporting laboratory and production testing activities.
