We're seeking an experienced, compassionate, and mission-driven Site Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of one of our residential locations. In this leadership role, you'll provide operational oversight, staff supervision, regulatory compliance management, and person-centered support coordination while fostering a positive environment for both the individuals we serve and the employees who support them.

POSITION: SITE SUPERVISOR

 

Location: Program Location  - Various Residential Areas throughout CT.

Weekly Hours: 40, Full-Time

Weekly Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm, Flexibility to support program needs / On-Call Responsibilities

Compensation: $65,000/Annual

Non-Union | Exempt | Salaried

 

What You'll Do

As a Site Manager, you will oversee all aspects of residential program operations while ensuring high-quality, person-centered supports for participants and a positive workplace culture for staff.

 

Lead Residential Program Operations

  • Oversee daily operations of an assigned residential location.
  • Ensure services are delivered in accordance with individual support plans and treatment goals.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment.
  • Monitor program performance, quality indicators, and census goals.
  • Provide direct support as needed to meet participant and operational needs.

 

Support Individuals Served

  • Advocate for the needs, rights, and goals of participants.
  • Coordinate and participate in individual planning meetings, including IP, OPS, IDT, and IEP meetings.
  • Ensure treatment plans, progress reports, assessments, and required documentation are completed accurately and on time.
  • Collaborate with families, guardians, case managers, clinicians, and community partners to support positive outcomes.

 

Ensure Health, Safety, and Compliance

  • Monitor participant health needs in partnership with nursing staff.
  • Coordinate medical, dental, psychiatric, and specialty appointments.
  • Ensure adequate medication supplies and medication administration compliance.
  • Maintain preparedness for emergencies, including fire drills and evacuation procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with DDS, DCF, ICF, DPH, OSHA, and Oak Hill regulations and standards.
  • Prepare for licensing reviews, audits, inspections, and certification activities.

 

Lead and Develop Staff

  • Supervise, coach, mentor, and evaluate direct support professionals and other assigned staff.
  • Coordinate staffing schedules and maintain required staffing ratios.
  • Assist with recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and employee development.
  • Conduct regular supervision meetings and annual performance evaluations.
  • Ensure staff training, certifications, and professional development requirements are maintained.

 

Manage Resources and Finances

  • Monitor program budgets and participant funds.
  • Ensure proper purchasing, inventory management, and financial recordkeeping.
  • Oversee household supplies, food inventories, and equipment needs.
  • Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of the residence and agency vehicles.

 

Build Strong Relationships

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Oak Hill, families, guardians, regulatory agencies, and community partners.
  • Foster teamwork, employee engagement, and positive employee relations.
  • Represent Oak Hill professionally in the community and with external stakeholders.

 

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum two (2) years of supervisory or management experience in residential services, human services, healthcare, or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet Oak Hill driving requirements.
  • Ability to successfully complete required background screenings and pre-employment requirements.
  • Ability to maintain required certifications and training.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing residential services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Knowledge of DDS, DCF, ICF, DPH, and related regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with person-centered planning and behavioral support programs.
  • Previous experience supervising multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience managing budgets, staffing schedules, and program operations.

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to program emergencies as required.
  • Ability to complete and maintain certifications including CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration, PMT, PAT, Back Safety, and other required trainings.
  • Ability to perform physical aspects of the role, including participant support activities, lifting, transfers, and emergency response when needed.
