Senior Human Resources Generalist

Lebanon, Tennessee | Onsite

If you’re an HR professional who likes being close to the business, solving real problems, coaching leaders, and seeing the impact of your work firsthand, this could be the role for you.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Human Resources Generalist to serve as a key HR partner at our Lebanon Distribution Center. This is a highly visible, hands-on role for someone who can move comfortably between strategic conversations with leaders and the day-to-day realities of supporting associates in a fast-paced distribution environment.

You’ll partner closely with site leadership and the HR Director to strengthen the associate experience, develop leaders, navigate employee relations, support talent decisions, and ensure our people practices help the operation succeed.

What You’ll Do

As the primary onsite HR partner for the Lebanon Distribution Center, you’ll have the opportunity to make an impact across the full associate lifecycle. You will:

  • Build strong relationships with site leaders and associates and become a trusted resource for HR guidance, coaching, and problem-solving.
  • Partner with the HR Director and operations leadership to translate business needs into practical people strategies and HR priorities.
  • Lead day-to-day employee relations matters, including workplace concerns, conflict resolution, investigations, performance counseling, and corrective action.
  • Coach frontline and mid-level leaders on performance management, associate development, policy interpretation, and consistent employment decisions.
  • Maintain a regular presence throughout the distribution center, staying connected to the operation and proactively identifying workforce trends, concerns, and opportunities.
  • Support recruiting, interviewing, selection, onboarding, promotions, transfers, and internal movement for hourly and salaried positions.
  • Coordinate employee changes and organizational activity in partnership with HR Shared Services, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Legal, and other support teams.
  • Help ensure the accuracy of our HR systems, organizational structures, position management, employee data, and required documentation.
  • Conduct workforce and pay audits to identify discrepancies, support internal equity, and maintain accurate employee information.
  • Support separation processes, including exit interviews, documentation, final-pay coordination, and company asset collection.
  • Help bring HR programs, policies, and initiatives to life at the site in a way that is clear, practical, and consistent.
  • Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, HR projects, reporting, process improvements, and broader organizational priorities.

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone who is comfortable taking ownership, exercising sound judgment, and operating as a credible HR partner in a busy environment.

Required:

  • 5–7 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required
  • Demonstrated experience independently managing employee relations matters, including investigations, performance concerns, corrective action, and conflict resolution.
  • Experience coaching and advising frontline and mid-level leaders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build credibility across all levels of an organization.
  • Strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, particularly when handling sensitive or confidential situations.
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Preferred:

  • HR experience within a distribution center, warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or other high-volume operational environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with Ceridian Dayforce.

What Success Looks Like

You’ll be successful in this role if you are someone who:

  • Builds trust with both associates and leaders.
  • Is visible, approachable, and connected to what is happening in the operation.
  • Can investigate an employee concern thoroughly and objectively while knowing when an issue needs to be escalated.
  • Coaches leaders instead of simply giving them an HR answer.
  • Balances associate advocacy, business needs, consistency, and risk.
  • Notices trends before they become bigger problems.
  • Is comfortable working independently while knowing when to pull in the broader HR team.
  • Enjoys an environment where priorities can change quickly and no two days look exactly the same.

Work Environment

This is an onsite position based at our Lebanon Distribution Center. The role works in both an office and distribution center environment and requires regular visibility and interaction on the production floor.

The position may require lifting up to 50 pounds.
