Responsible for being the first point of contact to employees to lead the daily activities of the warehouse to include labor scheduling, receipts, shipments, and proper utilization of space and equipment.Â

Responsibilities:Â
Your job:Â
Leads, coordinates, and assists the loading, unloading, orderly placement, and staging of product.Â
Ensures paperwork is accurate and performs second counts.Â
Ensures that customer orders are picked and shipped in a timely fashion.  Maintains an effective operation that minimizes cost and ensures optimal space utilization.Â
Participates in establishing work schedules.Â
Assures the integrity of the inventory and assists in physical counts.Â
Acts on behalf of the operations manager and acts as a liaison between warehouse workers and the operations manager.Â
Monitors the safety of all personnel, equipment, and property to include cleanliness, working conditions, and repairs.Â
Performs other duties as needed by management.Â

Qualifications:Â
You need the following to get in the door:Â
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.Â
Must have a minimum of two years’ experience in a warehouse environment.Â
Must be able to operate a computer.Â
Must be process driven and follow all SOPs.Â
Must have high attention to detail.Â
Must be able to follow directions of management and not deviate without discussion and approval of supervisor.Â
Must be capable of sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time.Â
Must be able to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch on a frequent basis.Â
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Â
