Community Day Program Manager- Harleysville, PA

Peaceful Living is seeking a Community Day Program Manager to provide leadership and development of programs the 1:3 Community HUB Program and 1:1 Home and Community Habilitation Services in order to create belonging for as many as possible. This is accomplished by maintaining oversight of both administrative and programmatic responsibilities to ensure that the program participants receive the needed services to live as independently as possible in the community and in the family setting

Essential Job Functions

  • Responsible for daily operations and oversight of the Family Services Department, providing an example of leadership and professionalism for the Family Services Department and Peaceful Living as a whole
  • Proactively support program development, expansion, and enhancement of services provided
  • Stay informed of new industry developments, approaches, and regulations
  • Collaborate with Admissions Team to review new referrals and serve more people
  • Hire, train, and supervise FS Coordinators and FS DSPs
  • Oversee schedule of care for families and employees, ensuring quality care of individuals served
  • Monitor the development of program plans based on the needs of each individual served in alignment with their ISP, ensuring quality care and regulatory compliance
  • Focus on development of the Family Services Department by locating community resources and developing meaningful connections with local stakeholders
  • Complete monthly reports (KPIs, client hours etc.) as requested by CEO, VP of Operations and Mission Engagement, and Director of Strategic Initiatives.
  • Oversee data tracking and documentation to ensure accurate and timely billing
  • Provide training to employees as needed to ensure quality services
  • Report incidents and concerns regarding the safety and well-being, program, medical, behavioral, emotional, and social-emotional needs of those served to VP of Operations and Mission Engagement, Director of Strategic Initiatives, and Director of Quality Assurance
  • Oversee the Incident Management Process and ensure timely reporting of all incidents, as required by the Incident Management Bulleting and Peaceful Living polices
  • Oversee and participate in the on-call rotation to ensure quality care and services at all times
  • Attend meetings and trainings regarding the care and support of those served
  • Additional duties as assigned

 

Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or four years of management experience in the IDD services field.

Certificates and Licenses

Valid (state of residence) Driver's License and driving approval from Peaceful Living is required. Must attend and acquire and maintain certification in the PA Certified Investigator Training (within one year of hire date, as training schedule permits), will attend, acquire and maintain certification in the PA Medication Certification Train the Trainer Course.
